Situated in the 11th Arrondissement, this feminine, pink-and-white bookstore is dedicated entirely to cooking. Founded by Andrea Wainer, Laetitia Bertrand, and Natalie Redard, the shop sells a wide variety of cookbooks, chef biographies, and volumes on everything from kitchen disasters to the history of a particular country’s cuisine. There’s also a children’s section and more than 50 English-language titles. In addition to books, the store sells homemade pastries and an assortment of gifts such as aprons, tea towels, and T-shirts, all featuring the shop’s signature hen motif. La Cocotte also hosts special events such as cooking workshops and author discussions.
