Local haunt

Since 2002, chef Stéphane Jégo has kept Basque cooking alive and fresh at L'Ami Jean, tucked away between Les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. The tiny dining room and simple decor let the food really shine. With lamb confit, squid, and foie gras fricassée making appearances on the menu, no stomachs leave unhappy after a trip to this cozy little bistro. Reservations are strongly advised for lunch or dinner.
