10 Rue Condorcet, Paris, 75009, France

Located in the Ninth Arrondissement, just a seven-minute walk from the Gare du Nord (North Station), this tiny restaurant and wine bar specializes in authentic cuisine from the Alsace region. Inside, the casual eatery is adorned with decorative tiling, warm wood paneling, and local artwork. Owner Claude Steger works in-house as a chef, a waiter, and a talented sommelier who memorized more than 100 wine labels in order to suggest ideal pairings for his patrons. Steger’s selections complement traditional dishes like the signature choucroute garnie (dressed sauerkraut) and the flammekueche, an Alsatian pizza topped with crème fraîche, onion, and bacon.
