Louisélio
Louisélio is the name of this Second Arrondissement ceramic studio and shop, as well as the pseudonym of its owner, contemporary artist Véronique Ganem. The shop’s all-black wooden exterior looks rather mysterious with hardly a clue as to its identity, except for the ceramic bowls displayed in the gold-rimmed picture windows. Inside, the space is filled with Ganem’s one-of-a-kind glazed stoneware pieces which are decidedly earthy, but with a modern edge. The collection is comprised mostly of vases and bowls, but entire tableware sets are available, as well.
Insider Tip:
The Instituit Japonais (Japanese Institute) is located nearby, so the neighborhood is filled with some of Paris’s best Japanese restaurants, bars, and sushi spots.
