Even if you aren't a fan of samba, bossa nova, batucada, or any kind of dancing for that matter, the casual atmosphere and quality of live music at Le Blue Note will win you over. Famous European jazz artists like Marcio Faraco have made their debuts at this venue. The atmosphere, from the ramshackle exterior to the dimly lit interior, is deliberately, even delightfully, shabby. While jazz artists regularly perform, the real draw of Le Blue Note are the Brazilian musicians, who usually perform at least every other night. The music is nothing short of euphoric.
