La Flûte Gana
20th Arr.
Paris, 75020, France
It's all in the family at this brightly lit corner bakery in the Gambetta district that's named after founder Bernard Ganachaud's own la flûte gana (thin baguette), the moniker of which he patented. Ganachaud won the esteemed Meilleur Ouvrier de la France (craftsman of France) title in 1979. His famed boulangerie was officially taken over by his daughters 10 years later where, to this day, expert bread makers create signature croissants aux amandes (almond cream and cherry filling) and brioche vendéenne (bread with butter and vanilla).
Insider Tip:
La Flûte Gana's sister bakery is just a few metro stops over in Vincennes.
