Pass the palm trees to enter a wood-paneled, business-like lobby at the 10-story Four Seasons, which was built in 2005. Each of the 200 guest rooms has floor-to-ceiling windows with triple-paned glass to dampen traffic noise from the neighboring highway. The hotel rooms also include generous marble bathrooms with glassed-in showers, soaker tubs, and flat-screen televisions. On the rooftop, the hotel’s hot tub and outdoor lap pool are surrounded by gardens. Guests can sit in the private cabanas, nap under umbrellas in the lounge chairs, and order from the food and drinks menu.
Room to Book:
Higher floors, eight and above, have better (although not exceptional) views of San Francisco Bay to the north and the Santa Cruz Mountains to the south.
