Designed as an ode to Palm Springs in its Golden Age, when celebrities like Humphrey Bogart visited, this Hollywood-Regency style hotel occupies four acres. Opened as a bungalow retreat in 1933, the property underwent a full renovation in 2003. The 67 guest rooms, made up of standard rooms, suites, and villas, are decorated in a color palette of black, white, and lemon-yellow, with Italian designer linens and bath products by Aromatherapy Associates. There are varied services available at Estrella Spa, and three outdoor heated pools. Citron restaurant serves New American cuisine and is open throughout the day.
