Palm Springs
Indian Canyons Golf Resort North Course
Palm Springs, CA, 92264, United States
Indian Canyons is ingrained in Palm Springs history. Frank Sinatra played the first invitational on the public North Course, which William P. Bell designed and debuted in 1962. Date palm and oak trees line the greens, which are set against a rocky, mountain backdrop. In the summer, temperatures on the North Course climb above 100 degrees, so hitting the tees as early as 6 a.m. is not uncommon. The North Course Restaurant is the most elaborate of the resort's dining options, with three meals daily, a Sunday champagne brunch, and a weekday happy hour.
Insider Tip:
The North Course has a putting and chipping area; if you prefer a driving range, there’s one on the adjacent South Course available to golfers prior to their northern rounds.
