73721 Shadow Mountain Dr., Palm Desert, CA 92260, United States

Designed with the concept of Palm Desert in the late 1940’s, this one-level motor-style inn is a bright beacon of orange and lemon yellow. Twenty-four guest rooms and suites surround a central area equipped with a pool and Jacuzzi, spa, and garden, with plenty of seating to relax in the sunlight. Lemon trees are planted within the grounds, while palm trees along the exterior act like a barrier for a more secluded appearance. Vintage movie posters line the walls of the lobby, and a complimentary breakfast is available daily. It is also a quick walk to El Paseo for dining and shopping.
