Often lauded as one of the best restaurants on the island, Fourways Inn serves locally inspired Continental cuisine in a Georgian building dating back to 1727. Originally a private residence, the coral-and-cedar structure also served as a guesthouse for almost three centuries. Today, the restaurant is decorated with mahogany accents, Impressionist paintings, and large French windows, and additional seating is available outside on the covered garden patio. The seasonal menu includes such dishes as veal scallopine, grilled lobster with lemon butter sauce, and for dessert, the signature soufflés, available in flavors like Grand Marnier and Dark & Stormy.
Insider Tip:
The restaurant has a relatively affordable early dinner special, available before 7:30 p.m. Just be sure to ask for the special menu, as it’s only provided upon request.
