Collette Dinnigan

She began her career working in costumes for the Australian Broadcasting Commission, but in 1990, Collette started out on her own with a lingerie line, using fabric from France that is hand-embroidered in Bombay, India. The first store in Sydney opened in 1992, with an emphasis on sheer dresses and lacework, and moved to the current clean-lined Woollahra neighborhood boutique in 2011. Red-carpet regulars like Miranda Kerr, Nicole Kidman, and Rachel McAdams have all been seen wearing her designs, and a line of wedding dresses is also available.
