This wood-framed coaching inn seamlessly blends in with its historic surroundings near the River Misbourne. Part of the Modern Coaching Inns group that includes the Olde Bell Inn and Stoke Place, thie hotel, owned by Tej and Sarina Dhillon, partnered with designer Ilse Crawford to shape the inn, whose five room types fill the Main Inn, Courtyard, and Bailey buildings. The Main Inn sits on High Street; the modern-designed rooms have large beds and rain showers. Rooms in Courtyard and Bailey have a more traditional feel, and some of the larger Courtyard rooms have four poster beds.
