Things to do in Osa Peninsula

The main attraction of the Osa Peninsula is its rugged landscape and exotic wildlife, and there are plenty of things to do on the Osa Peninsula, both in and around the Corcovado National Park. Exploring the rainforest is an experience like no other, and many visitors see monkeys, reptiles and birds in their natural habit. For the more adventurous, there are many things to do on the Osa Peninsula including hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, tree climbing, rappelling down waterfalls and night tours in the jungle.

Still wondering what to do on the Osa Peninsula? For water based activities head to the nearest beach, where you might be the only person. Surfing spots can be found at Cabo Matapalo and Pan Dulce, and there are plenty of local companies that offer scuba diving and snorkeling equipment.

Finding out what to do in Osa Peninsula is easy; finding time to do them all is the challenge. To sample the local culture, visit the town of Puerto Jimenez, where you will find some great gift shopping and great restaurants.
