1145 Maunakea St., Honolulu, Oahu, HI 96817, United States

Fresh flowers and good prices are the norm at the M. P. Lei Shop, on Maunakea Street, in Honolulu’s Chinatown. Look for the storefront with sky-blue trim, colorful Asian lanterns hanging from the eaves, flowers in the open doorway, and a sign that includes Chinese characters. Open daily and particularly busy during Mother’s and Father’s days and high school events, the florist shop’s leis include maile leis, which are made with maile vines that have slender, sweet-smelling green leaves. Floral arrangements and other gift items are available.
