Restaurants in Nice

Nice’s status as a major French city as well as its close proximity to Italian/Mediterranean food culture has turned it into the perfect place for a delicious, culturally complex meal. Stellar offerings make a restaurant selection difficult, but most Nice restaurants won’t disappoint. Here, a few you should consider for your trip to the city.

Over the past few decades, Nice has become a major hub for North African and Italian immigrants to settle. Accordingly, Nice restaurants offering foods from these regions are plentiful. For a taste of Morocco head to La Casbah, a family-owned restaurant known for its lamb and couscous or make a reservation at La Pescheria, which combines Nice’s Italian heritage with its Mediterranean roots. The most beloved Nice restaurant by far is Le Sejour Café, the go-to spot for dishes informed by the meeting of French and Mediterranean cuisines and cultures in this coastal city. Diners will find themselves close enough to the beach to catch the ocean breeze and cozy enough to forget that they’re far from home.
