Dale Talde of Top Chef fame, along with his partners David Massoni and John Bush, brought Talde to Park Slope in 2012 and it has since become one of the neighborhood’s most popular restaurants—and for good reason. A dynamic Asian-influenced menu with an emphasis on local Brooklyn ingredients includes flavorful dishes like kung pao chicken wings, crab fried rice, and dan dan noodles. Also worth noting is the extensive wine list and carefully crafted cocktail menu (it may be a crime to skip the blood orange margarita). Expect a comfortable yet sophisticated vibe, and an authentic collection of rare Asian antiques and mahogany-wood carvings. Leave room for the dessert—the souped-up halo halo, a Filipino shaved ice dessert, is spectacular.
