Housed inside a 1931 Art Deco building, the JW Marriott Essex House is part of the National Trust Historic Hotels of America. The hotel, which sits between Sixth and Seventh Avenues and overlooks Central Park, offers 509 guestrooms with sleek, Art Deco-inspired furnishings, including marble bathrooms with glass bowl sinks and illuminated headboards adorned with contemporary art insets.
