221 Camp St.
International House
New Orleans, LA, 70130, United States
TEL: (504) 553-9550

Named for benevolent deities from the Voodoo tradition, this boutique bar and lounge channels the many moods of New Orleans by specializing in designer elixirs. Crystal chandeliers and pillar candles cultivate a sophisticated, Old World ambiance that’s well suited for after-work drinks and romantic outings. The heart and soul of Loa, though, is its menu of expertly-crafted cocktails. This isn’t the place for domestic beers and basic Jack and Cokes—Loa’s drink recipes call for fresh Louisiana-grown citrus and berries in addition to unexpected ingredients like pine needles, bamboo, and Spanish moss.

Insider Tip:

In honor of legendary voodooienne Marie Laveau, who's buried in tomb 347 at St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, Loa's mixologists created a potent champagne-and-pear brandy cocktail called Laveau 347.
