Located steps from Bourbon Street in the south end the French Quarter, Arnaud’s has served classic Creole cuisine since 1918 in a restored turn-of-the-century house now run by the fourth generation of the Casbarian family. Fish and seafood dishes like Louisiana lump crabmeat with sherry-infused cream sauce and oysters with eggplant and andouille sausage dominate the menu, but it’s the restaurant’s shrimp Arnaud, with its signature remolaude sauce, that has been the crowd favorite since day one. Sunday brunch draws dressy diners for its Dixieland Jazz and four-course, prix fixe menu.
