Table Fifty-Two

Once a personal chef to Oprah Winfrey, chef Art Smith opened his Table Fifty-Two inside the historic 19th century carriage house of the Biggs Mansion. The Northside restaurant features two stories and rustic décor that includes an open-hearth oven and a pressed copper ceiling. Known for Southern comfort food, the restaurant’s menu includes dishes like low-country shrimp with stone-ground grits, open-face pulled pork sandwich, and pistachio-crusted chicken breast. Popular starters include deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes, and the establishment’s signature cocktail, the Humdinger, is a favorite as well.
