Things to do in Nassau

Visitors won't easily run out of things to do in Nassau. The city is packed with sights to see and activities to experience, including a lively club scene. Be warned: Nights in the Bahamian capital can get extremely rowdy. The college-spring-break crowd wondering what to do in Nassau need look no further than the city's array of nightclubs and bars that dot its beaches.

But Nassau is more than its nightlife. There are many things do in Nassau during the day; the shopping is incredible, as is the city's restaurant scene. For history lovers, the city offers multiple bus tours, which ferry visitors through Old Town, Nassau's historic district. Finally, no trip to Nassau is complete without a visit to Fort Fincastle, a defensive structure built at the tail end of the 18th century located on a hill to the south of the city that offers sweeping views of the Bahamian capital.
