Oxbow Public Market
Napa, CA, 94559, United States
A cutout of a wild pig hanging from the rafters of Oxbow Public Market denotes the entrance to this food- and wine-focused antique shop. In the museum-like setting, white walls are decorated with animal-themed paintings, while wooden tables are strewn with everything from vintage corkscrews to ceramic roosters. Owner Lisa Minucci, the former sommelier of St. Helena’s now-closed Martini House, travels regularly to different culinary destinations around the world, acquiring any sort of item that would fit into her collection. Unusual finds may include a 19th-century tobacco cutter, an Italian butcher block, and an 1860’s cast-iron wine basket from France.
Insider Tip:
After shopping, relax with a wine tasting at the Oxbow Wine Merchant or a cone of Earl Grey ice cream at Three Twins (both stores are located in the marketplace).
