Despite its name, this fine-dining restaurant is not actually a buffet in the traditional sense of the word. However, the small bistro does serve a wide variety of international cuisines, including American, Italian, and French. Candlelight and soft jazz music create an intimate ambiance in the 20-table dining room, which also contains large mirrors and black-and-white photographs of sailboats. Outside, a handful of sidewalk tables provide additional seating. The menu changes seasonally but may include such dishes as tuna tartare, pheasant soup, and coq au vin, all served in generous portions for reasonable prices.
Buffet Kull is only a five-minute walk from the National Theatre Munich and the Munich Kammerspiele (Little Theatre), making it an excellent choice for pre-show dining.
