With its zip-line canopy tours, Selvatura brings you eye-to-eye with birds that occupy the rainforest treetops—and lets you fly like one yourself. New canopy tours (which involve getting strapped into a mountain-climbing harness and coasting along suspended cables high in the trees) seem to pop up every day in Costa Rica, but Selvatura has one of the longest tours, with 15 lines and 18 platforms in magnificent primary cloud forest. There’s also a treetop walkway—no zipping required—for less adrenaline-fueled nature viewing. Once you’re back on terra firma, you can explore Selvatura’s butterfly farm and hummingbird garden.
