Mitte
Konk
Ever since Berlin’s first tented fashion week took place at Brandenburg Gate in the summer of 2007, the city’s up-and-coming fashionistas have been rapidly carving a high-style niche in the city. Mitte, in particular, has sprouted a crop of funky boutiques offering you-won’t-find-them-anywhere-else designs—and Konk is one of the best. Tucked away on a tiny, friendly cul-de-sac off of Auguststrasse, the white-on-white space stocks women’s wear by mostly local designers like C. Neeon and Kaviar Gauche, along with a small selection of jewelry and accessories. There’s even a house fragrance.
