Better known as Ezeiza International Airport, or simply Ezeiza, Argentina’s principal international airport sits 26 miles to the southwest of the center of Buenos Aires. The airport, named after the general and politician Juan Pistarini, has three terminals, A, B, and the much newer Terminal C, which opened in July of 2011 and is the international hub of Aerolíneas Argentinas. Eighty five percent of all international air traffic to Argentina enters the country here with nearly nine million travelers each year. Most domestic airlines and flights to Uruguay use Jorge Newbery Airport, just 15 minutes north of downtown.

Insider Tip:

Avoid the unlicensed taxi services at the airport and stick to the taxi kiosks and Manuel Tienda León, which has buses and remises to and from the airport.
