Upon departure, non-citizens are entitled to a cash refund of the 21 percent VAT tax paid on commercial purchases of more than 70 pesos (US$18). The process requires two steps: first, take your receipts to the counter near check-in to determine the amount of your refund; then go to the Global Refund window for cash back.
