Bulgari Hotel, Milano

7/b Via Privata Fratelli Gabba
Milan, Italy
TEL: 39-02-805-8051

In Milan, the penultimate manifestation of cool is the Bulgari Hotel. Located in an 18th-century palazzo at the end of a private cul-de-sac, the hotel blends its own 4,000-square-meter back garden into the city’s own botanical gardens beyond. Inside, the 58 rooms and suites portray the ultimate in refinement, with precious materials like black Zimbabwe granite, Burmese teak, dark oak, and Navona travertine. The Bulgari Suite also includes a bathtub carved from a single block of Turkish Bihara stone. The hotel also has a gold mosaic pool and emerald green glass walls in the on-site spa.

Room to Book:

The best views are from rooms that face the garden. Standard rooms are cramped, so upgrade to a suite if traveling with more than one person.

Insider Tip:

Spend at least one evening in the hotel’s restaurant and lounge, which are prime real estate for celebrity watching.
