Restaurateur David Burke has created a two-faced restaurant spanning the 59th Street side of the iconic Midtown Bloomingdales. The wood, glass, and steel space offers turned-up renditions of classic pub fare like chicken, bean and mushroom chili; surf and turf sliders; and lobster mac and cheese. For dessert, try the cheesecake lollipops with bubblegum flavored whipped cream. Take out versions are available on the other side of the space at Burke-in-the-Box and come in crafty packaging like faux tennis ball canisters containing three sandwiches.
