This floating museum is housed in a former U.S. aircraft carrier that served in WWII and Vietnam War. The ship retired in 1982 and, in that same year, the museum was opened. Explore four different decks of the ship and get a small taste of life aboard the ship in the Pilot Ready Room, where pilots gathered before being dispatched on their next mission. Be sure to stop for lunch at the recently recreated Mess deck. (Though you won’t be eating authentic ship food; they now serve Au Bon Pain.)
