The Blakely New York
A modern interpretation of a British gentlemen’s club, the Blakely hotel is situated in midtown west, just a short walk from Central Park and Broadway. Inside, the lobby is furnished with Persian rugs, worn leather couches, and bookshelves lined with Charles Dickens classics. The 117 guest rooms are similarly styled with dark cherry wood furniture and oak trim, although they also have kitchenettes, flat-screen TV’s, and wall-to-wall marble bathrooms with Frette robes and Penhaligon's toiletries. Abboccato, the on-site Italian restaurant, serves a complimentary continental breakfast, as well as homemade pastas and dinner entrées like grilled yellowfin tuna with citrus sauce.
