Accessed via an private entrance off 50th Street, the Waldorf Towers hotel occupies floors 27 through 42 of the famed Waldorf=Astoria, an Art Deco landmark constructed in 1931. The marble-floored lobby is furnished with a fireplace, gilded armchairs, and vibrant floral arrangements, and the corridors are lined with photographs of former guests (who include every U.S. president since Herbert Hoover). The 58 spacious guestrooms and 123 suites are all individually designed with antique furniture, and some have foyers the size of an average New York hotel room.
