Drinks infused with liquid nitrogen are the main event at this avant-garde West Avenue cocktail lounge. Cryogenic fluid is colder than ice and produces ghost-like "smoke" that erupts from martini glasses at Below Zero Nitro Bar, an innovative process that some critics have refered to as the wave of the future for cocktails. These other-worldly concoctions are just as much of a treat for the eyes as they are delicious. For example, the Absolut Ruby Red is reminiscent of a ghoulish laboratory experiment or witch's brew. The Nitro-Tini may just as well have appeared from outer space, with frosty blue cheese crumbles and a swizzle stick that resembles an apparition.
