Books & Books almost undersells itself with its name: At its Coral Gables location, inside a 1920s Mediterranean-style building, book-filled shelves soar all the way from the store's wooden floors to its timber ceilings. (There's also a fireplace, an understandable rarity in Miami, but a design element that only adds to the space's cozy charm.) The store is a treasure trove for art book lovers, and the charming cafe offers a comfortable spot to browse your literary wares. Books & Books is also well known for its jam-packed calendar of literary events, which includes author readings, poetry and reading groups, writing workshops, and lectures.
