Restaurateur Stephen Starr has a magic touch when it comes to knowing when, where, and how to open new eateries. In the case of Miami Beach, he opted to expand his Continental concept (there are versions in both New York and New Jersey). Opened as part of the Aloft South Beach, the restaurant makes shareable plates an interactive venture, with options like Build Your Own Sushi. While the main dining room reflects the appropriate level of Miami cool, if the weather allows, grab a table on the foliage-filled patio.
