Joe’s Stone Crab
A Miami institution for many decades, this family-owned seafood restaurant draws crowds of locals, tourists, and even celebrities, with former patrons ranging from Frank Sinatra to Ivana Trump. Originally established as a small lunch counter in 1913, the restaurant now covers an entire city block and is decorated in a classic style, with white tablecloths, dark wood chairs, and green leather booths. The signature menu item—stone crab claws—are served with Joe's mustard sauce, as well as traditional sides like hash browns, creamed spinach, and sweet potato fries. For dessert, the homemade key lime pie is a longtime favorite.
