With the vibrant colors, craft décor, and rustic dining chairs with woven rush seats here, you may feel as if you have stumbled into a colonial town of Mexico, albeit with a fun-house twist. In keeping with the theme, Cúcara is the place for traditional Mexican food: guacamole, tacos, enchiladas, grilled flank steak (arrachera), plus dishes with names such as La Pechuga de Teotihuacán (a breast of chicken, stuffed with squash blossoms and cheese). A superb selection of Mexican beer, wine, and tequila expertly match the food.
