You’d never expect that the charming and secluded Q Station, at the entrance to Sydney Harbour, was once a quarantine base for ship passengers in the 19th and 20th centuries. Sydneysiders now flock to the seaside resort, just seven miles away in the suburb of Manly. The 73 rooms and six three-bedroom cottages are outfitted with oversize beds and balconies.
