Quality over quantity is the ruling principle at this diminutive wine shop, opened in late 2005 by husband-and-wife team Steve Flynn and Shelly McClure. The store specializes in wines from small vineyards that operate according to old-world principles, as well as from burgeoning wine countries like India and Morocco. Most of the 300-bottle inventory is organized by region, although the shop also has separate sections devoted to organic products and wines from female vintners. Approximately half of the bottles are priced under $15. In addition to wine, the shop also carries an impressive selection of hard-to-find bourbon and sake.
