Polar Lounge at the Marcel at Gramercy

Map
201 E. 24th St., The Marcel at Gramercy, New York, NY 10010, United States

The chic, arctic-inspired Polar, located below New York’s Marcel at Gramercy, is a less overt version of the trendy ice bar. Here, the temperatures aren’t freezing, but the décor evokes the chilly environs of the North Pole. Large paintings of polar bears, plush, white banquettes, and crystal chandeliers evoke the colder climes. The cocktail menu includes an assortment of original drinks, such as the Arctic Tea, made with orange vodka and mint leaves, as well as updated versions of the classics. A small dining menu features items like chicken wings and calamari.
