An interior design icon for more than half a century, John Rosselli is a go-to source for unusual, well-priced antiques. Rosselli, who began his career as a decorative painter, regularly travels around the world to find pieces for his eclectic collection, which emphasizes painted finishes and potential to mix and match. In his Upper East Side shop, the ever-changing inventory represents a wide range of places and eras and may include such finds as a Moroccan carved walnut mirror with mother of pearl inlay, a French chandelier with porcelain flowers, a double-gabled antique birdcage, and Rosselli’s signature blue-and-white porcelain pottery.
