As the city’s first eco-friendly nightclub, Greenhouse offers a “green” place for Manhattan partiers to dance the night away. The venue has water- and energy-efficient features such as LED light bulbs that use one-thirtieth of the energy burned by regular incandescent bulbs. The walls of the two-story, 6,000-square-foot club are made of sustainable bamboo, and the ceiling is covered with lush vegetation. The interior also has hollow glass cocktail tables filled with plants. Dressed in eco-friendly attire, the staff serves drinks made with organic 360 vodka, while DJ’s spin a mix of tunes ranging from house to techno and 80’s.
