This aptly named wine shop specializes in Burgundies from both well-known and obscure regions, including Chablis, Pommard, and Chassagne-Montrachet. The handpicked inventory also includes a number of Rhône wines, as well as a few from California and Oregon. Originally a tiny space in the West Village, the shop expanded to bigger digs in an old Chelsea photography studio in 2002. Maps of Burgundy cover the walls, and wine bottles are displayed in everything from wicker baskets to an antique claw-foot tub. Every Wednesday, the shop hosts a free jazz and wine tasting event from 5 to 6:45 p.m.
