Craft

For some food that is "real good, real simple", head over to Craft in the Flatiron district. Chef-owner Tom Colicchio, of Bravo's Top Chef fame, focuses on the beautiful simplicity of fresh, single ingredients purchased from the local market and nearby farms. The decor also expresses elegant simplicity, with brick accents, murals of muted colors, and softly glowing filament bulbs. The freshness of the ingredients really shine in dishes such as the Porterhouse steak, the pan roasted day-boat scallops, and the Hen-of-the-Woods mushrooms.
