When the first property of the expanding Only You brand opened in 2012 in the heart of trendy Chueca, it became a magnet for Madrileños, who filled its lobby, restaurant, and cozy bar day and night. "Modern maximalism" best describes the interiors, designed by Lazaro Rosa Violán, who riffs on everything from blue-and-white Chinese porcelain to a wall-sized sculpture of suitcases in the lobby and lounge. The 70 guest rooms are more subdued, and the attic rooms, with their beamed ceilings, make for a romantic getaway. A second Madrid property, also designed by Rosa Violán, will soon open near Madrid's Atocha train station.
