Great design, Modern style
Known as the “Riot House” in the 1960’s and 70’s, this hotel was a notorious party spot for touring rock bands like Led Zeppelin, the Who, and the Rolling Stones. Today, the renovated property is much more tame (save for when they’re hosting record release parties) and it still pays homage to its rock-and-roll history: LP’s in the guest rooms and music-themed art installations. The 257 rooms include the services of a personal “host,” who handles check-in, among other duties, as well as large windows overlooking the Hollywood Hills or Sunset Strip. Take in the rooftop views over nibbles by the pool at The Sundeck, or enjoy farm-to-table food downstairs at the new Riot House Restaurant.
