Moro is proof that a restaurant does not need to be a new hot thing to be worth visiting time and time again. It opened in 1997 and remains a stalwart. The creation of husband and wife team Sam and Sam, the menu looks to Morocco and the Southern Mediterranean for its influences. The atmosphere and décor are simple, with white walls, casual wood tables and little decor, and the food shared that sensibility yet its flavors are full and rich. The menu can change as frequently as weekly but the quality is reliable, and high on items like wood-roasted pork and charcoal-grilled lamb.
