With locations in both Clerkenwell and, more recently, Marylebone, The Zetter Townhouse is the quintessential boutique hotel. It's quirky and lavish, the Marylebone location has just 24 bedrooms and the rooftop apartment features an alfresco bathtub. Meanwhile, the original east London venue is just 13 cozy bedrooms. Both are inspired by fictional characters to drive the décor, a mixture of historical (heritage plaster remnants, swagged curtains) and quirky (walls lined with old maps and comics, bird-shaped room numbers). The refreshing bursts of personality and patina of age extends to the antique four-poster beds and indulgent marble bathrooms. Beyond a place to lay your head, both locations have sumptuous bars and are beloved for their libations.
