The Only Running Footman, part true British pub, part formal restaurant, has made a name for itself with its straightforward approach to classic British cuisine. Located just off Berkeley Square in London’s Mayfair district, the red brick Footman offers a casual pub setting on the ground floor, as well as the more formal (think: white linens and leather back chairs) First Floor Restaurant. In addition to classic English breakfasts, the pub specialty is its beer-battered haddock and chips with mushy peas. Meanwhile, the First Floor Restaurant specializes in more sophisticated dishes, including rump of new season lamb with garden pods and sea bass with ratatouille.
